Product Development Specialist

Our client is a specialized insurance product development organization that partners with insurance carriers, MGAs, and emerging insurance businesses to design, develop, and implement commercial insurance products. As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking a Product Development Specialist to support the development and enhancement of commercial insurance products across a variety of client engagements. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced insurance professionals while contributing to innovative product solutions in a collaborative, technology-forward environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise commercial insurance forms, endorsements, exclusions, and related policy language while ensuring underwriting intent is accurately reflected.
- Translate underwriting guidelines into implementation-ready product specifications, including forms, rules, attachment logic, and supporting documentation for technology and operational teams.
- Partner with underwriting, compliance, actuarial, technology, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support product development, regulatory filings, and successful product implementation.
Qualifications
- Commercial insurance product development experience with Commercial Property, Casualty, Specialty, or multi-line products, including experience working with ISO-based forms and manuals.
- Experience drafting and modifying policy forms and endorsements, with knowledge of admitted and/or non-admitted insurance products and regulatory environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to embrace technology and AI-enabled tools within the product development process.
