Our client is a technology-enabled managing general agency (MGA) focused on homeowners insurance in wildfire-exposed markets. The organization combines advanced risk modeling, modern technology, and insurance expertise to develop innovative property insurance solutions. This role will play a key part in shaping product strategy, driving product performance, and leading cross-functional initiatives that support the company's continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the insurance product lifecycle, including product strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing performance management.
- Partner with underwriting, claims, technology, finance, and distribution teams to deliver product enhancements, improve profitability, and execute strategic initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory requirements, and portfolio performance to identify opportunities for product improvements and business growth.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of insurance product management or related experience within the property & casualty insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy forms, underwriting, pricing, and product development; experience with Excess & Surplus lines is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive business results.
